The Reach 4 Dance Team

Dr Ray Rowden, a nurse by background and has worked in the mental health sector for over 35 years. He has served as a Chief Executive in the NHS, as a Senior Civil Servant in the Health Department and writes and broadcast on health issues. He has also worked with ballet companies in the UK and overseas to improve access to dance for people from all walks of life. He is Director and Company Secretary of Mental Health International Development, a not for profit company working with service users in the UK and overseas.

Claire Cattle is Co Dance Director with Reach 4 Dance. Claire has danced professionally with many ballet companies across Europe and is a renowned ballet teacher, having worked with many of the most auspicious schools in the UK, including The Arts Educational School.

Simon Horrill is Co Dance Director with Reach 4 Dance. Simon trained at the Royal Ballet School and was an artist with the Royal Ballet, a principal dancer with Scottish Ballet and danced in commercial theatre, including tours and TV appearances with Wayne Sleep.

Tom Sobel is Programme Co-ordinator for Reach 4 Dance and handles all bookings and administration for the project, including planning and liaison with venues. He is a qualified psychologist by background and has experience working in the fields of mental health and learning disability in the USA and UK.
